Imported from sunny South Africa about six years ago; UK
registered; right-hand drive; recent new clutch
Registered as a 1975 car, this
Alfa is one of the many South African imports that we see on the market
today.
It was imported and UK
registered in 2018 by our vendor and appears to be a well sorted car, running
and driving as it arrived on our site.
Our vendor understands that it
had a major refurbishment to the body and engine and although we are not sure
when this was done and there are no bills on file for it, the car does look very
tidy.
In 2019, there was some
welding done to the near side front shock mount and a number of wiring faults
were corrected, to pass through the MOT we suspect. More recently in 2021, the
clutch was renewed and since then it has been mainly stationary within a private
collection.
It should be noted, as can be seen in the photographs, that
there has been a slight 'parking incident' as the vendor decribed it, to a front
right corner.
