LHD French Kadett GSI known in the UK as an Astra GTE 2.0; some
additional Lexmaul performance enhancements; great condition inside and
out
It is not very often we come across such a car as this, an Opel
Kadett GSI 2.0 litre 8v with some
additional Lexmaul performance enhancements (AKA 2.0
Vauxhall Astra GTE) two door hatchback finished in possibly the best colour
of Diamond white with the original cloth interior.
The car was imported from Andorra two years ago and not done a
great deal of miles since. Apparently having being dry stored
recently, the car looks to be solid underneath and a very nice example
throughout.
A very smart 1980's car, it seems to present
well and certainly runs and drives. These GSI (GTE)s are now
becoming increasingly rare and very collectable. It stands to reason that the
GSI might go the same way as the Escort XR3i / Turbo market, and we all
know where that is at the moment - there are a lot less Astra than Escorts
about....
This example is largely in the original specification, apart from the
wheels the intake system and the bonnet eyebrows.
The car comes with an MOT running out in January 2026, and an array
of invoices mostly from Andorra and the original handbooks and service
book.
A rare thing to find these days, as a lot of these cars were heavily
modified along the way. This represents a great opportunity to acquire one
before it's too late and they become even rarer and a lot more
expensive.
Running starting and driving since it been on site and was driven
here over 75 miles without issue.
