deep bumper; 3-door; fuel injection removed and Dual twin webers
fitted.
A desirable 8-valve MkII GTI
Deep Bumper, showing eight former keepers and finished in Black with the
original-style GTI cloth interior. First registered in January 1991, it is
powered by the 1,781cc engine with five-speed manual
transmission.
The car has been converted to
run on a pair of twin-twin Weber carburettors. The vendor advises that it has
been running, although a fuel leak has since developed, and recommissioning is
therefore advised before further use.
Currently showing 227,670
miles, this car is offered as a restoration/recommissioning project and presents
with age and mileage-related marks throughout.
